Volunteer for the Early Childhood Development Programs Capital Campaign |

Community Action of Laramie County is seeking
to expand its outreach to area children and families by building a new
childhood development programs (including Head Start and Early Head Start)
facility. Volunteers are needed to help with fundraising, publicity and
projects in support of this effort on behalf of low-income children in our
community. |

| Become a volunteer project coordinator | |||
|
Community Action is seeking highly motivated individuals to
coordinate fundraising projects and recruit volunteers. |
|||
| Sponsor a fundraising project | |||
|
Through your community organization, civic club, school or
religious group you can sponsor a fundraising project. Collect aluminum
cans; organize a bake or craft sale; host a fair or art show; or sponsor a
walk-a-thon, office party, festival, auction, musical benefit or sporting
event. |

| Host a "Nonprofit Night" | |||
|
Invite Community Action of Laramie County and other local
relief groups to discuss their outreach to members or your group. |

| Shop at Cheyenne Farmers Market | |||
|
The Cheyenne Farmers Market is sponsored by Community Action
of Laramie County for 10 Saturdays in August, September and October. Market
proceeds are used to support Community Action programs in Laramie County. You might also consider contributing to the needs of a particular CALC program. Click on the program name to learn more about how each program strives to help the children and families of Laramie County. |
