Volunteer for the Early Childhood Development Programs Capital Campaign

Community Action of Laramie County is seeking to expand its outreach to area children and families by building a new childhood development programs (including Head Start and Early Head Start) facility.  Volunteers are needed to help with fundraising, publicity and projects in support of this effort on behalf of low-income children in our community.

  Become a volunteer project coordinator
Community Action is seeking highly motivated individuals to coordinate fundraising projects and recruit volunteers.

  Sponsor a fundraising project
Through your community organization, civic club, school or religious group you can sponsor a fundraising project.  Collect aluminum cans; organize a bake or craft sale; host a fair or art show; or sponsor a walk-a-thon, office party, festival, auction, musical benefit or sporting event.

  Host a "Nonprofit Night"
Invite Community Action of Laramie County and other local relief groups to discuss their outreach to members or your group.

  Shop at Cheyenne Farmers Market
The Cheyenne Farmers Market is sponsored by Community Action of Laramie County for 10 Saturdays in August, September and October. Market proceeds are used to support Community Action programs in Laramie County.
