Responsible for activities designed to provide strength-based case management and/or temporary financial assistance to low-income individuals and families. The ability to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds required. Lead Teacher (Preschool)

Primarily responsible to guide the growth and development of children ages 3-5 toward their highest potential.  The teacher provides early childhood education, which is age and developmentally appropriate, toward the overall goals of social competence and kindergarten readiness; provides for the child’s social, intellectual, physical, and emotional development; interacts closely with parents in all activities toward successful developmental goals for the child.  Experience working with preschool children and families of diverse economic and multicultural backgrounds preferred. Must demonstrate the ability to provide a wide range of creative activities and appropriate experiences for preschool children.  A minimum of an AA in Early Childhood Education or related field is required.  Bilingual with English/Spanish is a plus.  This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and an opportunity for professional development.  Must be able to consistently lift up to 40 pounds.
