Head Start Director

Community Action is seeking a strong, dynamic, innovative leader to manage a comprehensive child and family development program (prenatal to age 5 services).  Responsibilities include program management and supervision, human resource development, contract compliance, community relations and fiscal management.  Position will have oversight of high-quality services to prepare children for school success and to foster empowerment and self-sufficiency for families.  Applicants should submit a cover letter, resume, three professional references and an application for consideration to:  CALC Human Resources, 1620 Central Ave., Suite 300, Cheyenne, WY 82001.  Position is open until filled with screenings to begin July 7, 2006.  EOE.

 

Self-Sufficiency Case Manager

Responsible for activities designed to provide strength-based case management and/or temporary financial assistance to low-income individuals and families. The ability to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds required. Bilingual skills with English/Spanish desired.  Must possess excellent oral, written, and organizational skills.  Must demonstrate a working knowledge of computers.  Experience with subsidized and/or income-eligible human services programs preferred.  Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.  Send application, resume, and cover letter to Community Action Human Resources, 1620 Central Avenue, Suite 300, Cheyenne, WY 82001.  EOE

 

Lead Teacher (Preschool)

Primarily responsible to guide the growth and development of children ages 3-5 toward their highest potential.  The teacher provides early childhood education, which is age and developmentally appropriate, toward the overall goals of social competence and kindergarten readiness; provides for the child’s social, intellectual, physical, and emotional development; interacts closely with parents in all activities toward successful developmental goals for the child.  Experience working with preschool children and families of diverse economic and multicultural backgrounds preferred. Must demonstrate the ability to provide a wide range of creative activities and appropriate experiences for preschool children.  A minimum of an AA in Early Childhood Education or related field is required.  Bilingual with English/Spanish is a plus.  This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and an opportunity for professional development.  Must be able to consistently lift up to 40 pounds. Teacher Assistant (Preschool)

Home Visitor

(Early Childhood Education)

Housing Manager
