Paula Dickson has been the Executive Director of Community Action of Laramie County (CALC) for the past four years. She came to CALC after an additional twenty-three years of executive management. Mrs. Dickson spent eight years teaching graduate-level management and leadership courses. She has thirty years of non-profit experience. Since coming to our agency she has restructured existing and implemented new programs. Mrs. Dickson’s efforts have greatly improved our ability to serve the community. This past summer, Mrs. Dickson became the first in the state of Wyoming to obtain Certified Community Action Professional (CCAP) Certification. |

Stephanie Batson comes to Community Action of Laramie County (CALC) with ten years experience working with non-profit organizations. She has worked with everything from fundraising to marketing and public relations. Batson graduated from University of Wyoming with a major in Marketing and a minor in Information Management. At CALC she directs organizational operations and manages an AmeriCorps VISTA team as well as four other staff members. |

Dennis Carter is Community Action of Laramie County’s Fiscal Officer. He has an Associate Degree in Business Administration. He spent twenty-four years as a construction accountant, and three years as a hotel controller. |

Mary Bienz runs Community Action of Laramie County’s (CALC) Housing and Self Sufficiency programs. She has been with CALC for fifteen years. For the past twelve years, Ms. Bienz has been a program manager, after a start in case management. Ms. Bienz has also been Executive Director for Cheyenne Respite for the past twelve years. Cheyenne Respite is a program that provides temporary care for families with children with disabilities. She also has Stepping Stones to Recovery, alcohol recovery, certification. |

Paul Wright has been Program Manager at The Cheyenne Crossroads Clinic (CCC) for eight years. He has expertise in establishing relationships with agencies, associations, and groups to collaborate and address needs of our community. Mr. Wright also is an expert on the laws and Regulations the Clinic must follow. Prior to working as our Program Manager, Wright worked as an outreach worker assisting with patient intake, and also gained knowledge of International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD9) codes. Wright’s background includes work as a trainer for mentally and physically disabled individuals, teaching integration skills in order to enhance independence. |

Alice Carter is the Program Manager for Wyoming Kinship Advocacy (WYKA). She worked with grandparents who raise their grandchildren for the past five years. For twenty years, she helped to raise her own grandchildren, an experience that gives her insight into the needs of those with whom she works. Since coming to Community Action of Laramie County, Carter has made significant progress developing WYKA. She won the Casey Family Programs Ruth Massinga Award for Kinship in 2006. She also coordinates the Adopt-a-Grand-family back-to-school drive, and runs Grandparents Kinship Care Day in the Park. |
