Kinship Support Services can provide In Home Services to those who qualify through the Wyoming in Home Services Program. This can include light housekeeping, chore service, grocery shopping and respite. We can also assist with completing the Temporary Guardianship packet for the courts. Kinship services also include possible assistance for children in need of eyeglasses, school supplies, after school activity assistance, school lunch assistance for those who qualify
Working in partnership with the Cheyenne VA Medical Center, Veteran Housing Services provides short-term housing (up to 90 days) for homeless veterans as they work with case managers to secure permanent housing.
Buy local, support Community Action of Laramie County, and enjoy a gorgeous morning at the Cheyenne Farmers Market. Join us each Saturday for 10 weeks from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., starting the 2nd week in August through the 2nd week of October at Frontier Park. Although the 2024 season is over for now, it was a record year of vendor sales, participation and fundraising. The market generated over $570,000 in sales and economic impact for our community, distributed over $13,000 in tokens to low-income families and individuals facing food insecurity, and generated just under $50,000 for CALC as our annual fundraiser. Words cannot express how grateful we are for our vendors, our patrons and our community! See you in 2025!
