Interested in volunteering?
Volunteers are a vital part of Community Action of Laramie County (CALC), helping us support individuals and families throughout the year. From assisting with maintenance and upkeep at our facilities to helping with move-ins and move-outs for our veterans and transitional living units, volunteers make a direct, hands-on impact in our community. We also rely on volunteers to help bring our major fundraising events to life, including the annual gala, the Farmers Market, WyoGives Day, and many other special initiatives. Whether you have a few hours to give or want to get more involved long-term, your time and talents help CALC continue its mission of supporting self-sufficiency in Laramie County.

Make A Contribution
We invite you to make a difference in your community with a generous donation! Every contribution counts, and your support can create amazing change. Just imagine—your $5 donation can provide vital homemaking services to seniors, helping them stay in their homes longer! A $50 donation can fill the pantry of homeless veterans as they transition to permanent housing, and a $250 donation can remove a barrier to education for a young child or adult by providing an eye exam, lenses and frames through our Child and Adult Eyeglass programs. Together, let’s build stronger communities and uplift those in need!
Support our mission
Your donation truly makes a difference, providing essential assistance to those in our community who need it most. Together, we can create positive impact in the lives of our most vulnerable citizens.

Other Ways To Help
While monetary donations allow us to put funds where they are needed, we accept all forms of donations with gratitude.
If you would prefer to drop off donations of granola bars, individual coffee packets, hot cocoa packets, individual creamers, pull top canned goods, diapers, baby formula, cereal and baby food, you can do so during business hours. We also have a small clothing closet for our clients to choose from free of cost. We accept all sizes from newborn to plus sized clothing in all genders, as well as shoes, socks and dress clothes.
You can also purchase from our Amazon Wish List or add Community Action of Laramie County under your King Soopers Community Rewards Account: Home->My Account->Community Rewards - Organization #DY731. Kroger then donates a portion of your total grocery sale to our organization on a quarterly basis - and it does add up.
You can also shop at the Cheyenne Farmers Market from mid-August to mid-October. As our annual fundraiser, we receive 5% of the vendor sales which are returned to the community through our programs.
