Make a Contribution
Every day, Community Action of Laramie County provides healthcare, housing assistance, veteran services, emergency support, and pathways to stability for individuals and families facing some of life's greatest challenges. Behind every service we provide is a person seeking hope, a veteran working toward independence, a family striving for stability, or an individual in need of compassionate care.
As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of community members, businesses, and partners to help meet critical needs that funding alone cannot cover. Financial contributions, in-kind donations, and essential supplies allow us to respond quickly to urgent situations, improve quality of life, and ensure that no one has to face hardship alone.
Whether you donate a medical supply, furnish a veteran's new apartment, provide emergency care items, or make a financial contribution, your support becomes a direct investment in the people we serve and the strength of our community.

Not every contribution comes in the form of a financial gift. Many of our programs rely on donated supplies, household items, personal care products, and basic necessities that help us serve veterans, families, individuals experiencing homelessness, and patients receiving healthcare through Crossroads Healthcare Clinic.
A donated backpack can provide comfort to someone living on the streets. A set of dishes can help a veteran move into permanent housing. Basic medical supplies can ensure a patient receives the care they need. These everyday items may seem small, but they often make a life-changing difference.
We gladly accept new, unused donations of physical items throughout the year. Donations may be dropped off at our office during regular business hours. If you have questions about current needs, please contact us before delivering larger items.
Every item donated helps strengthen our community and support our neighbors when they need it most.
2027 Community Impact Partnerships - Investing in a Stronger Laramie County
Community Action of Laramie County is developing the 2027 Community Impact Partnership Program, a new initiative designed to create meaningful, year-round partnerships with businesses, corporations, healthcare providers, financial institutions, and philanthropic organizations that share a commitment to strengthening our community.
For decades, Community Action of Laramie County has helped individuals and families overcome challenges related to housing stability, economic hardship, workforce participation, health, and overall quality of life. As the needs of our community continue to evolve, this partnership program will provide organizations with opportunities to make a lasting impact while supporting services that help individuals and families achieve greater self-sufficiency and long-term success.
The program is currently being designed and will offer sponsorship opportunities that support community services, economic development, workforce readiness, family stability, veteran services, homelessness prevention, health initiatives, and community well-being throughout Laramie County.
By becoming a Community Impact Partner, organizations will help strengthen families, support a more resilient workforce, improve community health outcomes, and contribute to a stronger, more prosperous future for our region.

Other Ways to Help
While monetary donations allow us to put funds where they are needed, we accept all forms of donations with gratitude.

If you would prefer to drop off donations of granola bars, individual coffee packets, hot cocoa packets, individual creamers, pull top canned goods, diapers, baby formula, cereal and baby food, you can do so during business hours. We also have a small clothing closet for our clients to choose from free of cost. We accept all sizes from newborn to plus sized clothing in all genders, as well as shoes, socks and dress clothes.
You can also purchase from our Amazon Wish List or add Community Action of Laramie County under your King Soopers Community Rewards Account: Home->My Account->Community Rewards - Organization #DY731. Kroger then donates a portion of your total grocery sale to our organization on a quarterly basis - and it does add up.

You can also shop at the Cheyenne Farmers Market from mid-August to mid-October. As our annual fundraiser, we receive 5% of the vendor sales which are returned to the community through our programs.
