Community Action of Laramie County, Inc., has been helping Laramie County children, families and individuals who struggle with poverty, homelessness and other crises. Services are provided through the following outreaches:
Community Action’s Health Care for the Homeless, offers medical, dental and prescription services to the homeless.
Kinship Support Services, offers assistance and support to kinship caregivers over the age of 55 through comprehensive case management including: guardianship assistance, information regarding available services, assistance in gaining access to services, counseling on health, nutrition, and financial literacy, support groups, training on the new caregiver role and problem solving, and respite to caregivers.
Head Start Pre-natal to 5 years, provides educational, nutritional and health care services to children pre-natal to 5 years and their families.
Self-Sufficiency and Housing program offers assistance to help individuals and families recover from economic, medical and other setbacks. |
