Since its inception in 1967, Community Action of Laramie County, Inc., (based in Cheyenne, Wyoming) has been at work helping Laramie County children, families and individuals who struggle daily with poverty, homelessness and other crises. Service is provided through the following outreaches:
Cheyenne Crossroads Clinic, which offers medical, dental and prescription services to the homeless.
Wyoming
Kinship Advocacy facilitates relative caregiver support through experienced staff who are grandparents raising grandchildren by offering confidential information and referrals.
Housing for homeless families as well as homeless and disabled individuals.
Head Start Pre-natal to 5 years, program providing educational, nutritional and health care services to infant through pre-kindergarten children and their families.
Self Sufficiency / Emergency Services that offer assistance to individuals and families with critical housing and employment needs, including help with rent/mortgage, damage deposits, utility bills, home repairs and paying for work-related needs such as clothing, transportation, identification and medical care. |
