Hello
Jessica Sayers, Program Director
Social Services
As Director of Social Services, I am dedicated to dedicated to fostering positive work environments and a culture of teamwork.
My Story
I am a proud Cheyenne native, deeply rooted in the community where I was born and raised. With a rich background in business and nonprofit leadership, I have dedicated my career to uplifting others, particularly those facing challenges in Wyoming. As the former Executive Director of the Unaccompanied Students Initiative, a statewide program, I have demonstrated my commitment to supporting underserved populations.
I am a fierce advocate for individuals experiencing housing insecurity, channeling my passion into meaningful community service. A true cancer warrior, I am currently battling breast cancer for the third time, inspiring those around me with my resilience and strength. In addition to my advocacy work, I am a devoted football mom, actively involved with the Central High football team, often opening my home to feeding and supporting the football boys. My engagement extends to my church and the Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative, where I continue to make a positive impact.
With extensive experience in executive leadership, I am dedicated to fostering positive work environments and a culture of teamwork. I believe in the power of human relationships and service to humanity, striving to bring energy and mission-driven focus to everything I do. I am excited to join the team at Community Action of Laramie County, where I look forward to continuing my mission of service and community upliftment.
